Swinging
This series is based off the famous Rococo painting, The Swing, by Fragonard. The first painting is a study of the painting's structure followed by a painting which breaks the whole piece down into various oblong and circular shapes. The final piece is an interpretation of the first two. From a distance these two pieces look strangely similar because they have approximately the same color proportion and placement.
